  1. What song is on your iPod right now?
    Vital Signs by Midnight Juggernauts

What’s hanging on your wall at home?
A piece of generic art. It came with the flat. I hate it. It’s attempt to be a bit Barnett Newman but fails epically.

What was your favorite toy as a kid?
Lego. But I had to separate all the bits into colours and had to make everything exactly according to the instructions. It was not a toy I liked to share with my sister or cousin. And I had a hissy fit if the stickers weren’t exactly in the right place. OCD much?

    Ever come close to death?
Yeah. I was on a kayaking trip at Uni and it was late night after the pub walking home along a Welsh valley in the pitch black back to our camp site. We were all drunk and I thought it would be a good idea to run ahead and hide behind a tree to jump out at people. Suddenly I found myself plunging down and had to grab onto the tree. I managed to scramble my way up and decided not to tell everyone how silly I had been. Only the next day I saw the massive plunge down to the river below where I would’ve fallen.

What did you want to be when you grew up?
A pilot. I was in awe of the captain and his cockpit (ahem). Back in the good old days when they left the door open and you could peek in and see the windscreen and control panels. I came very close to actually being a BA pilot as they were recruiting around about the time I left Uni and I passed all the aptitude tests. I just failed at the last hurdle in the verbal interview. Damnit.

Name a book you never finished reading.
    The bible. Snooze.

Soundbyte, according to the person who sits nearest you:
"I just looked at the picture. As is my job (right?)"
